Muses

They come and go… But most importantly, when they come, the are there for a reason. A purpose to guide you in a creativity journey or to teach you a new skill. I believe in this so much that, I felt my Muse come to me when I was learning how to paint pour with my sister. And I felt it when I was teaching my daughter how to paint pour. It was so delightful to see her face when she realized how cool and fun this new painting skill is. We want to do more paint pours in the near future. 🙂

I have been doing a ton of research, learning new skills, perfecting existing skills and creating a partnership. Allowing my muse to guide me. My sister and I spent a fair amount of time together this past weekend, mostly with our daughters crafting but also, in our minds doing business. This week, has been about individualism and finding our grooves, or listening to our muses. We know if we are going to gain a partnership, we are going to have to have our own space and time for our thoughts and designs. I think this week, is just that. Even if we don’t have to say it to each other, we know that it is just that and it is okay. Part of growing and maturing, basically adulting. 😉 We are preparing for something we have never done before and it is a little scary and exciting and we need some time to gather our thoughts.

The muse has struck. Stay tuned for more information!
