When people see the word witch they fear it. When simply putting it, it is the furtherst from fear. Fear is the unknown. When you don't know something or understand it, you fear it. I am crafty witch. I have been practicing witchcraft for over 20 years... I know it is in my blood. I have about 4 book of shadows, several mini grimoires, junk journals turned into creative portals of a bountiful on information for me to dive into at any particular time, when I need a little boost in my routine. Things I don't do that, when you see the word "witch", you think this is what is done. I do not sacrafice humans, animals or plants. I do not believe in the devil, as one entity, I beleive there is evil in the world and that there are people who are evil. I do not have a hand in black magic nor do I desire to do so. I beleive there are Gods and Goddess. I believe in heaven and I love to think my parents are up there very proud of me. If you asked me what religion I am or what I worhsip, I will tell you nature, kindness, goodness and the power of affrimation. I believe in the healing of crystals, herbs and aromatherapy. I believe being kind to yourself and others makes a big impact. I've learned to love myself even though I have bad days and tough times... Learning to love myself and the skin I am in, has been important of my self discovery. I like to use many mediums to creat art, a DIY project, or craft project. I beleive that people that use their hands to create are the artists, the seekers of adventures, wander losts, those that get in touch with nature, seek knowledge through the universe, spend their days dreaming, presenting a full spectrum of color in their worlds,.. those are the Do'ers, the thrivers...the believers in love and life. Some would even say witches. :-) I sure hope this doesn't scare you and helps you undestand. Sometimes just a little bit of knowledge can open up a wonderful world of opportunity.
