Sometimes you just have to take risks. I am scared but yet, excited. Scared because we have tried this venture before and I flew in one direction and kept going on the business…It was a very challenging time in both of our lives. NO FAULT OF ANYONE’S, I just want this so damn bad that I wanted to keep going solo and see what I could do. With that being said…Excited because, as we grow in life, we grew. And, we in our hearts feel that, we are each others support, each others muse, and that, could really boost confidence and grow the business. She knows how hard I have worked on this and how I cherish each and every one of my customers. And I know she brings that much compassion to the business and making customers happy. I am talking about my sister Jody and her and I partnering up in my business. Jody brings 30+ years of artistic skills. She is quite talented behind an ink pen, but her passions for every avenue of art exceed and blow up with possibility. That will mix well with my eclectic background in arts & crafts. We have been working, in my art studio…”the studio”, for about 6 weeks or more now, and about 2 days a week . It is true to say we are each others muse. More honestly, art and creativity runs in our blood. I could go into detail with that but I will be brief in saying my mother once was an avid sewer and crafter, my uncle Sonny was an awesome painter, and we have a niece currently in art school…I could go on.
We have created some very cool pieces of art that we are going up for sale in the near future. We have created some beautiful aromatherapy jewelry, custom jewelry pieces, received a few orders and we have come up a self-care holistic bath & body line, along with many more very cool ideas for the business. We have learned, we have talked about our differences and most importantly, we have forgave each other for our past actions and mistakes. It takes a lot of courage and confidence to admit when you are wrong… It takes being humble and compassionate to forgive.
